Tips on Using Our Forums

  • If you would like to be notified of new posts, you can "Subscribe" to the Forum you are interested in by clicking on the Subscribe button at the top or bottom of the Forum. You will then receive an email notification any time a new post is made in that Forum.

  • If you would like to subscribe to certain TOPICS only, you can do so by going into that Topic (thread) and clicking on the Subscribe button at the top or bottom of the thread.  You will then receive an email notification any time a new reply is made to that Topic.

  • Any time you log in, you will see the number of NEW posts marked in GREEN beside each Forum. To find the new posts, click on the Forum heading and look for any Topics with (# NEW) beside them.  Click on the Topic itself to go into the thread for that Topic.  Once in the thread, you can see the new posts by looking for the little green square at the left of the post's heading - they are white if you've already read them and are green if you have not.

  • When posting, you can see a PREVIEW of your post by clicking on one of the two Preview Pane icons at the far right of the Editing buttons. They look like a piece of paper divided in half either vertically or horizontally.  One allows you to see a Preview underneath your editing window; the other allows you to see the Preview to the right of your editing window.

  • If you really like a post, you can indicate this by clicking on the "Karma" + button underneath the poster's name. You can also click the "THANK YOU" button!

If you have any other questions about using our Forums, please feel free to post them (or use the Contact Us button in the Top Menu), and we will do everything we can to help!
